WELCOME TO MY CHAOTIC BLOG!
Thank you for being here ♡
I’m a busy mom of two active kids, a wife and a business owner. If you are a busy mom or someone that loves to eat clean but needs a quick recipe, then you are in the right place. I’m not a professional chef; however, my family likes to call me “the master chef of the family”… I really appreciate that title. 😊
The goal of my blog is to share my go-to healthy meal recipes that are quick, easy and delicious. My hope is that these recipes will help make healthy eating less intimidating for families who are always on-the-go.
I also really believe in food as a way of showing love to my children Aiden and Alessandra. Providing my kids with nutritious snacks and meals helps set them up for success. They are often in the kitchen helping me prepare our food, and I like to explain to them the benefits of each ingredient we are using. I also take them grocery shopping so that they see how a meal is prepared from start to finish.
While I do make some recipes with traditional measurements for each ingredient, some of the recipes you find on this blog will use approximations. I like to “eyeball” a lot of my recipes–following an exact recipe sometimes makes things more stressful and makes me feel like I need to achieve a perfect, magazine-worthy result. It sucks the fun out of cooking!
As an example, I am someone who boils pasta in water that is “as salty as the Mediterranean.” I do not use a spoon to measure out this salt… I just follow my heart. 🤍
If you have a favorite healthy recipe you enjoy, please share it with me. I would love to feature it on the blog.
